We are looking for DevOps Engineer – Terraform | Ansible | Linux | Private Cloud who thrives on creating robust, scalable infrastructure using code. Can turn infrastructure challenges into clean, repeatable solutions with a deep understanding of Linux systems, automation tools, and private cloud platforms. Should be comfortable working in virtual environments and managing physical data center gear.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring everything is version-controlled, modular, and efficient.
- Automate OS and application configuration tasks with Ansible, removing manual steps and reducing errors.
- Take ownership of Linux servers, keeping them secure, fast, and stable in production environments.
- Deploy and maintain systems on private cloud platforms like VMware, Proxmox, or OpenStack.
- Hands-on in the data center, provisioning hardware, setting up RAID arrays, handling PXE boot and configuring networking.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to design and implement reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Set up monitoring, logging and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Create robust processes to ensure continuity.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps field.
- Proven, hands-on experience using Terraform and Ansible in live production environments.
- Deep expertise in Linux system administration, with experience across distributions like RHEL, CentOS and Ubuntu.
- A solid background working with private cloud platforms — especially VMware, Proxmox, or OpenStack.
- Practical knowledge of data center operations, including hardware setup and network layout.
- A strong grasp of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls and VPNs.
- ·Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, bringing DevOps principles to infrastructure delivery.
- Solid scripting abilities in Bash, Shell or Python to solve problems programmatically.
